New leadership in Physics at BSix

Mike O'Brien has just started at BSix as Subject Team Leader in Physics. He is responsible for leading the subject at GCSE and A Level and on BTEC courses.

Mike O'Brien - Subject Leader: Physics

Mike is a very well-qualified physicist. He has a degree in Physics from Imperial College University of London and an MSc in Electronic Materials and Devices from the University of Greenwich. Mike was trained as a teacher at the Institute of Education UCL, ranked the best teacher training institution in the world.

Mike is a very experienced teacher. He has taught in a school in Hertfordshire and at Barnet College. Before joining BSix , Mike was Head of Faculty of Science and Maths at Haringey Sixth Form Centre. He has an excellent track record of improving results and, for many years, has delivered 100% achievement in A2 Physics.
