Wadham College, Oxford Study Retreat
The Easter break is a crucial period for revision and the completion of coursework, and 18 BSix students made the most of this time by participating in the annual Wadham College, Oxford Study Retreat.
Students were selected based on their attendance and effort through the year and the submission of a short written application outlining how they would benefit from the retreat. Dedicated students from both first and second years, and from the Humanities, Science and Maths, and Business and IT departments were selected to attend. Students benefitted from desks in their rooms, and the use of the large, well-stocked Wadham library, as well as from being surrounded by their similarly motivated and hardworking peers.
Ibrahim called the retreat “inspiring and motivational”, whilst Pamela described it as “an unforgettable trip that will help to decide my future.” Students returned to BSix focussed and feeling positive about the forthcoming exam period.
