BSix at Hackney Music Gala

BSix students recently wowed the audience for the Hackney Music Gala held at the Hackney Empire.


The Gala is a celebration of the musical achievements of Hackney schools and colleges. The newly elected Mayor, Phil Glanville, gave a speech in praise of these accomplishments and gave out a series of awards.

They performed in collaboration with Urswick School whose pupils played bells, accompanying a medley of Desiigner Panda / Too Good.

The band was coached and rehearsed by BSix music teachers, bassist Paul Sandy and guitarist Tobias Silvester.

The College's Head of Creative Industries, Kishan Pithia, commented : "It was a brilliant performance. I am so proud of how talented and adventurous our students are. Their show was highly skilled, confident and polished."
